We love cats! KAH has taken special efforts to offer the very best experience for it’s feline patients. We have achieved gold level status as a feline friendly hospital with the American Association of Feline Practicioners (AAFP) .

AAFP Cat Friendly Practice

As a result of this special certification cats have their very own designated feline exam room full of cat toys, feline pheromones, catnip and feline friendly music (believe it or not music actually helps keep some cats more relaxed).

Another standard to acheive gold level cat friendly status is to have a designated feline only holding area. We have a double cat cage with horizontal bars that cats prefer to look out of as well as multiple levels as cats like to sit in high perches.
