Our pets cannot speak for themselves and laboratory work can give us a better picture as to how our four legged family members are feeling on the inside.
Kokopelli Animal Hospital has advanced in house lab capabilities. Blood samples can be obtained to evaluate blood chemistry values, CBC, thyroid, heartworm, Felv/FIV testing and coagulation times to name a few. We can also evaluate urine, stool, tissue and other samples in our in house lab.
These in house samples are available the same day, usually within minutes or hours, and allow for rapid diagnosis and treatment. KAH also utilizes an outside referral laboratory for more specialized testing such as cultures, biopsies, etc.
